Red vinyl record spinning on a turntable

What's on

Something on every week

Once the espresso machine cools down, the café turns into a record shop, a stage, a tasting room and, once a month, an arena.

Once a month the bar turns into an arena. Baristas from across the borough pour head to head, two at a time, and the loudest cheer decides who goes through. It's competitive, it's silly and it's the best night of the month.

    • A bracket of eight, sign up at the bar
    • The winner takes home a bag of the month's single origin
    • Espresso tonics and snacks all night

Cupping is how roasters taste: side by side, blind, with a lot of slurping. Theo walks you through six coffees from three continents and you'll leave able to tell a washed coffee from a natural by smell alone.
